Omnicom Media Group Agency Added More than $1 Billon in New Business

New York, NY (April 8, 2024) – As reported in the 2023 New Business Balance report from RECMA (the Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry), Omnicom Media Group (OMG) agency Hearts & Science topped the 2023 net new business (wins minus losses) ranking of global media agency networks.

Fueled by more than $1 billion in new business wins – including the global Jaguar Land Rover business, UK National Lottery operator Allwyn, Horizon Therapeutics, and the Virgin Voyages global consolidation – and with a win/loss ratio of 6:1, Hearts & Science earned its first #1 ranking in its eight-year history.

Punching above its weight, OMG’s youngest and still expanding network outperformed agencies with significantly larger global footprints and market share to claim its place in a statistical tie at the top of the network ranking.

Describing the agency’s winning offer to marketers, Allwyn’s Global Head of Media Ross Sergeant said when announcing Hearts & Science as Allwyn’s new media agency partner last September, “Hearts & Science has been able to provide a unique perspective paired with innovative approaches to strategy, planning and buying. I believe this is a new kind of media agency – an agency rooted in the science, which is truly pursuing the creative and innovative opportunities that media brings us today.”

“Hearts & Science outperformed the industry in 2023 by combining its best-in-class expertise in personalized digital marketing with OMG’s next-in-class data and technology,” says OMG CEO Florian Adamski. “Leveraging the wide range of future-fit capabilities that OMG’s Agency as a Platform model – powered by the Omni operating system – makes accessible and actionable, the agency is unlocking transformative growth for clients in an increasingly complex marketplace.”
